Words, for what

What good are words? You say what you mean and all you get are reason why your wrong, even if your right. A word to most are unwelcomed if they mean a difference of opinion, and as far as words go 'opinion' really pisses me off. Of course "its [my] opinion", that the sun sets in the west and that winter is colder than summer in the northern latitudes, but its is a fact as well. I do understand that it is a matter of perception, however, perception is not a matter of opinion but of seeing. 'Observation' is a much better word.

I've put some crude music on myspace in an effort to overcome my sensible aversion to modern society. This blog too is part of that attempt, and also to reach someone who is like me- floating on the fringes antagonizing the masses in order to try to break those who can see free. I'm a fool. I can't help but feel compelled to help, even though we have been conditioned to ignore the kind of help we need or label it as fantastic pessimism. The junky needs tuff love cause he's incapable of controlling himself. When the last time the average American gave up gas for a month?

Football screws my ass. Theres a war for crying out loud, about oil among other things. How much oil is used directly and indirectly for a NFL Football game (fans driving, teams jetting all over the country, stadium operation/mainance)? Its human nature I'm told, over and over. I was around a bunch of fundamentalist Christians who were of the "cult/crazy" variety, they all said the same thing too and it also wasn't enough to make lies true.

So I guess the question is: How do you share love in a loveless culture, one that aggressively lives a lifestyle that demands an on-going 'war for more'? What is love America? Bullets or bombs? And the whole God thing, every dollar is blood money so spend christians, spend. I don't believe in a pearly white gated community in the sky anyway. What a funny thing, that Christianity.

The word of the bible, what little I've read is good, but damned if all those selfish folks driving to church take only the parts that fit into their lives. In the first 12 pages of the new testiment you'll read about non-violence and being charitable and humble.

Find one thing in your life that serves to distract you; takes your mind off the suffering caused by our lifestyle, find it and eliminate it. Distractions are the reason way as a culture and as an individual we can't change our direction until we ride this train to the end of the tracks. Love is an action and a word is too crude to express it.
